A very kind Facebook friend and fellow public education activist - whom I have never met - knows I was born in Holland and miss Dutch food and traditions.
She spent yesterday in her kitchen making a traditional Dutch Christmas treat - Kerststollen - and she made one for me!!!
It's travelling across country in the next couple of days for me and my son to enjoy...
This world is filled with wonderful, kind, thoughtful, giving people....
